We maintain operational, security and audit logs to protect the platform, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and evidence key events.

What we log

Application logs

Server/platform logs for troubleshooting and security monitoring

Retention: 30-90 days

Audit trail logs

Key actions: account activity, consent changes, switching events, signing events, supplier/webhook events

Retention: Contract life + 6 years

Background job logs

Asynchronous workflow execution (document extraction, notifications)

Retention: 30-90 days

Observability telemetry

Performance metrics, traces, error tracking (where enabled)

Retention: 30-180 days (configuration dependent)

What logs may contain

  • Account IDs and tenant/business IDs
  • Timestamps and request identifiers
  • IP addresses and device/browser information
  • Event/action types and error information
  • Workflow event metadata (switching, signing, webhooks)

What we don't intentionally log

  • Bank account details (account numbers, sort codes)
  • Full uploaded document contents (bill images, contracts)
  • Passwords (stored hashed, never logged)

Log Access & Controls

  • Access restricted to authorised personnel only
  • Personal data in logs minimised where practical
  • Retention limits enforced automatically
